you probably just irratated the area.
either that or the bacteria on your fingers caused a small infection or irritation.
don’t worry about it.
it it continues in the next couple days,
just go see your doctor :D.
good luck!

i’m not sure why you are sore, because i’ve never masturbated before, but you cannot get an std from masturbation.

not an STD but you may have bacterial vaginosis which naturally grows in the woman’s vaginal enviroment. to stop the sore means to quash bacterial vaginosis using the doctor’s guide on http://tinyurl.com/68nd9w by Dr Sue

Use a little lubrication next time. You may have just rubbed a little too hard and the friction made you sore. Also, no, you cannot get an STD from masturbation.

well actually u CAN get a STD because lets say u used a dildo from a girl that had an STD and u didnt wash it or they didnt wash it before u used it
and now u have a STD

you CAN NOT get an std from yourself by masterbating.. it is not possible unless you have relations with someone who HAS the desiese or you share blood with the person as for the soreness because you have not had sex and you dont do it often thats probbably the reason along with like the answer before your rubbing to hard.. little hint.. take a condom if you are too embaresed to buy a toy and fill it with water.. totally new sensation :)

No, you can’t get an STD from masturbating unless you touched someones infected body fluid and mixed it with yours.
You could be having something called "vascogongestion." If you did not experience an orgasm from masturbation check out this article:
"….the most likely culprit for that symptom would simply be that you’re not reaching orgasm from partnered sex. Pelvic pain after intercourse isn’t a symptom of pregnancy.
In the same way some men will get "blue balls," women can (and often do) experience a similar sensation. When you get sexually aroused, blood circulates in the genitals and pelvis. Usually, when a person reaches orgasm, or feels physically/sexually satisfied (not just emotionally satisfied) after sex, everything will settle down there in fairly short order. But if someone doesn’t, that vasocongestion can hang on for a little bit, which in women, can cause discomfort in the pelvis and/or vulva."
Also, you may have been going too hard, too high…Also, at certain points in a woman’s menstrual cycle your cervix comes down a bit, so you may have been bumping it too much. Also, your nails may have been too long…so many possibilities…
